HAWKS' PRE-SEASON 2011
Newcomers Lost During Pre-Season Games
The first three 2011 pre-season games for the Seattle Seahawks have shown some glaring needs. These needs from the start are: better play by the first team offensive line, and quarterback. Hawks Offensive lineman Robert Gallery, James Carpenter, and Quarterback Tavaris Jackson must play better soon. Get better soon, as in "before opening regular season game on the road against the 49ers." As a Hawks fan I would rather walk in a "Art Gallery" and listen to the 70's musical group the "Carpenters" than to watch Hawks' lineman Robert Gallery and James Carpenter. Lost is a understatement when it comes to Gallery and Carpenter. Bull rushed, non-zone blocking and shadow blocking, plus having your starting Quarterback Tavaris Jackson run for his life in all three pre-season games on every snap spells a four win 2011 Seattle Seahawks regular season. Holding onto the ball way to long and locking on to one receiver tells us that Tavaris Jackson, in three pre-season games, may not be the long term regular season answer. The Seahawks starting offensive line is so bad that Hawks defense may become most of their offense with turnovers, and sacks. Are we going to see the Hawks do a lot of short swing passes to running backs, slants, and role-out passes to tight ends throughout the 2011 regular season ????? Can we say Charlie Whitehurst?????????????????????????
