Do the Seahawks live in Beford Falls? Is Matt Hasselback [George Bailey?] Could Seneca Wallace be Matt's Guardian Angel named,[Clarence]? This may not be the movie [It's a Wonderful Life], but just like the movie Seattle must weather the storm until Matt Hasselback returns in three weeks.

Seattle showed us against the Vikings that losing All-Pro left guard Steve Hutchinson, is like the Jacksons losing Michael! Seattle's offensive line seemed to be thinking to much, and missing assignments at a regular pace. [Holding], [false starts] are common penalties when it comes to the Seahawks' offensive line now?

Even All-Pro left tackle Walter Jones is getting called for holding. Seattle running backs pass blocking, is like a kid afraid of water! Nate Burleson new name must be Casper the Ghost, because he has not been seen doing anything on the field for about four weeks. Burleson looks lost out there, plus his having a hard time trying too get open!

Seattle's running game against the Vikings was very poor! Maurice Morris had some holes, but failed to hit holes hard, and was stopped for 1,2 and no yard gains. Seattle's defense could not stop the Vikings' running attack running back Chester Taylor ran all over the field for [169yds].
Seattle's defense should not let a no-name running back [ChesterTaylor] have a career game.

The Seahawk's secondary against the Vikings looked as bad as Carl Lewis trying to sing the Nation Anthem. Herndon,Truburnt, and Jennings are getting beat every week for long touchdown catches. Up front the Seahawk's defense failed to put any pressure on the old quarterback of the Vikings Brad Johnson. If you give Johnson time in pocket to throw the football, he will pick you apart.

Seattle has one week to prepare to play at Kansas City. The Seahawks will get blown out, if they play like they did against the Vikings.

How Can the Hawks beat the Rams?

First the Hawks must take out the crowd by scoring a touchdown, or even a field goal out the gate. The offensive line must be on the same page, and give Matt Hasselback time to throw the football. Against the Bears the Hawks Offensive line gave up too many sacks(5). Even all pro Walter Jones was getting beat on a regular, by the great defensive ends of the Bears. Hasselback also needs to make smarter decsions with the football. The two ints. against the Bears buy Matt Hasselback where just bad throws on his part. Marc Bulger of the Rams has not thrown a int so for this year. Bulger has alot of weapons, Jackson, Holt, and Bruce make up the core of their offense.

Seattle must contain running back Stephen Jackson, under a hundred yards. The Hawks secondary, Herdon,and Truburnt, cannot get beat like they did against the Bears. The wide outs Bruce,and Holt of the Rams run great routes. Seattle defense also needs to put pressure on Marc Bulger. Theres 14 millions reasons on why Grant Windstrom needs to step it up! Marc Bulger is the type of Quarterback that will pick you apart if you allow him to sit in the pocket. This game has the making to be a shootout at the Edward Jones Dome.

What a melt down by the Hawks!

The Hawks just got outplayed on both sides of the ball. Hasselback has too play better! Also Mike Homgrens play calling has to be better. Running the ball with Matt Strong on third and ten wont work with that Bears defense. The Bye week will help Seattle. Hopefully the Hawks will have Alexander back when they go to St.Louis in two weeks.D.Jack. needs to hang on to the football, and Marcus Truburnt, and Kelly Herdon really need to stop getting beat.

Lets hope the Seattle Seahawks play with more fire in there belly for the entire rest of the year!

This past game with the Bears was a wake up call for the Hawks!
